Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!

Hi bloggers, Today I am going to be talking to you about me getting into the... YMS Speech finals. Have you ever been into the Finals?  So first up we had to write a Speech about something of our choice I chose why Motocross should be an Olympic sport. I chose this topic so that I can write about something that I like, and not something that I dont like. 

So getting into it I did my Speech infront of the whole class, after that some people got chosen to gointo the Speech finals infront of the whole school. After that I found out that I was in the Speech finals along with some of my Friends. I learnt from this that I am good at writing Speechs. And that I am good at specking infront of people.

This is who made it in.

• Zack (Me)   My Speech was about why Motocross should be an Olmypic sport.
• Sam (My friend)  Sam's Speech was about why Team Sports is the best.
• Eamon(My friend) Eamon's Speech was about why TY toy's are amazing.

So that was who was in the finals. 

Then I did mine infront of our whole class and 2 other classes I was so nervous about doing it. But I got up the front and did it At the end of the Day. DRUM ROLL PLAESE!!!! I found out that I won!!

I found this challenging because there were so many people watching.

Hi bloggers, Today I am going to be talking to you about my free write first of all I will show you the video below.  The most chellenging part of this was remembering what the movie was like and making the front cover.

SO that is my video did you like it I did this booklet for free write after I finished my work. I did this because I saw a movie that I really liked so I thourght why not just make a book about of it!!

 I hope that I have inspired you guys to make a book of something that you like it is really fun!

A really good way to be successful in your writing is to ask a partener to check your work so they can tell you what to improve on. Also you need to make the chapters have a catchy title for you chapters. That is the whole writing process in my head.

Tuesday is FUN?!?

Wasup yall 💲💵💷👀, Today I am going to be talking to you about TUESDAY FUN!! You might remember a while ago? Did you when I did a blog post on knitting. 

Thom and I (Thom is my friend), And well this is just the start of our amazing knitting. I was in group B I did a New Zeadland thing first.

At first I thourgh it was REALLY HARD! But... Then I found out that it was really easy and I could do it I did not get far but... I got somewhere. At the start is seemed like it was just a mess! 

So eventually I got it easyily I made the first part of my knitting take a l👀k

HOMEWORK - If I could invite 3 people to Dinner who would they be?

Hi bloggers, Today I am here to talk to you about my HOMEWORK so basically we had to invite 3 people to a dinner party. The Steps to doing this is.

• Find a empty doc.
• Make some letters to invite people.
• Write why you would invite them.

Pretty easy right, yeah pretty easy for mine I made a google drawing of who I would invite. The hardest thing was thinking of who to invite. Also Who would you invite? Did you find people to invite easy?

Maths Week? What in the world?

Hi bloggers, Today I am going to be talking to you about Maths Week. So in class this Week we have all chosen something to make for Maths week.

These were some of the things we could do. (Not all of them)

• Make a Bridge.
• Create a new playground.
• Make a Game/Puzzle Etc.

So those were some to the things we could do for our maths week in Rimu Class. Maths Week is a fun Week of making things but... Here's the twist there are some things that you have to make sure of when you are making these things.

When you make a Playground you have to make it 150M it lenth and width. How are you going to find out what 150M use your maths skills.

Materials for Bridge

• 5M of tape.
• 100 Popsicle sticks.
• 2M of string.

Thats all we had to make a bridge!

So now I am asking you guys a massive favour I was wondering if you could give me some feedback on what I could do better next time on my project Photo below.
The Photo also includes the steps of how to make what we have done SO FAR! on our bridge.

What we have learnt so far: So far so good I think what do you think? I have learnt that from this lesson you have to use a small amount of things on something not lots or else you will run out of stuff. I have also learnt that working in a team is harder than it looks.

EPro8 Challenge???

Hi bloggers, Today I am going to be talking to you about the EPro8, what the EPro8 is something people do and create all different types of things. You create what it says for you to create in your booklet, at the start you get an orange ball and if you do the challenge that is says you get extra points. Also everyone is welcome to come and it is only 30$ to go and have a go.

The EPro8 is based around 2/5 hours and you have to build to get points. I learnt that from the EPro8 challenge that people have to try and come up with fast and the right way to do things before they do it. Becuase sometimes I found that I did it the easy way but... it was not the best way because it fell to bits.

What challenge's my team did!

• Ball pit.
• Rat wheel.
• Elevator that works.
• Lighting Stick.

Novel Study??

Hi bloggers, Today I am just here to do a short blog post about what I have been doing in reading I am going to be sharing this with you guys to show what I have been doing in reading! We had to make a quick poster of what has happend in the book then blog about it so lets get into it!!



My reading group and I have been reading a book called my sister lives on the mentiel pieace. I have made a quick poster on what has happend in the book so far, mine has been about when he went to school after he moved to his new house. And his sister was killed by muslims then the main person finds himself in a school with a muslim. So the main person Jamie has to find a way out of this.

My learning goals?!?!

Hi bloggers, Today I am going to be talking to you about my 
learning goals. Learning goals are things that you make an then you stick on the front of your computer so that you can look at it whenever you are looking for things you want to do better on like in writing, if you wanted to know what to do better you can just read it and do what it says.  Also if you want to know what to do in maths or reading you can just look at it it makes thing was cooler. We do little things like this to improve our work and get the best result's we can so we can improve in our work while we are learning new things at the same time. They are really helpful in tests aswell because you know what to do to get a higher level. The last thing about learning goals is that you can make them yourself and then copy across what you need to workk on but you can make it rainbow or what ever you want.
