My Maths

Hi, Bloggers. This week with me maths I have been doing some maths on Multiplication and Division. I love Multiplication and Division because it is hard and not easy like + and  -.


But what I found hard was doing 18 questions in 2 mins it is harder than you think but luckly the questions were not that hard most of them were like 18 diveded by 4. So that was good but still itwas hard to complete 18 of questions like that.

My personl inquiry

Hi, Bloggers. Today I will talk to you about my personl inquiry this is a bit like my personal.

This inquiry is cool because I can choose what I do my topic I do my topic is on why people should ban 1080. Here is a link to my work. I found this work easy bcease me and my dad go hunting all the time. And we know lots about 1080 with our hunting. And we do not like 1080 because it gets in animals tummys and then we catch the animal and eat the 1080. Also 1080 is bad because it kills so amny animals just to save one animal withch is a type of bird. and they kill 7 diffrent animals just to save that. the rest of the info is in the LINK

Book chrater day

Hi, Bloggers. Today is book chrater. I am dressed up as a person from nitro circus his name is Cory he is a youtuber and he has a brother called Capron. We had a whole school parade with everyone in the school this morning. I did not get a prize I have no idea who got the prize. I do not even know if they gave out a prize. We also got a new class book everyday today is a book called story bound. It is cool it is about some people doing a training thing and there is a dragon in there way and they need to get past qand there is lots more stuff going on as well. One of my best friends kade is dressed up as tom gates he looks epic. in his suit and my other friend toby is dressed up as a zombie.

SAILING WAS SO MUCH FUN!
My dad came as parent help. It was awesome having dad on my school trip
because he could help me with lots of stuff, like setting up the boat and helping
me get in and out of the boat.

Setting up the boat was exciting because I learnt how to do a blood knot
and how to set up a sailboat. My partner was Thom (he is one of my best friends) and
it was cool having Thom as my partner because he has lots of experience with
boats (like me). After we set up the boat we got back together and
had a re group with the whole class. We were told about how to sail the boat and off we went to the wharf to have a lesson.

We all walked down to the wharf and the instructors/lifeguards brought our
boats to us. We could only have 3 boats out at a time so the
lifeguards could keep an eye on us for our first time sailing. It was my
first time sailing and I felt excited. When I got in that boat I went
zoooooooooooooooooooming into the distance like a rocket ship.
I whizzed around the buoy in the water that we had to go
around and then I just about flipped my boat but I managed to get control of it
and I kept going and I made it back to the shore. I sighed with relief and I was amazed
that I had not flipped my boat. I told all my friends that I just about capsized and also that
sailing was so much fun and they all could not wait until they had their turn. My friends and I all
talked about how epic it was sailing on the water.

When we had another turn the wind was really starting to pick up and it felt like being up in
space flying around like a mad person. When I got back on land I was watching my
friend Louis. He capsized. That made me laugh. The day had whizzed by and before
I knew it, it was time to get back on the bus. What a brillant day Thom and I had.
I hope we can do it all again next year.

                                                                   

  

Sports Day

Hi Bloggers. Today I will be talking to you about Sports day today we are doing some activitys. Such as
High Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump, And Sprints. If we do good some people  can go to zones
 witch is a place where you vs people from around the place you live. I did not get into zones I was so close but I did not get in.


Our first activity was long jump if you wanted to get into zones you had to jump 3.00 m far. Me and my friends all wanted to go to zones 2 of them did go to zones there names are Thom Aliz'e. I just about got in I was just happy 2 of my friends got into zones we had three jumps. Then we went to Shot Put.


At Shot Put we could not go to zones you had to be a year six and I am only a year five. But I still tried my hardest. The Shot Put is 2kg I threw it 4.6 m. I was proud of that. After Shot Put we went to Discus


At Discus we could not get to zones either but once again I did my hardest. The discus is 750g I got 10.2 m I got the best out of all my friends. That is about all that happened at Discus. Next, we Did sprints.


At Sprints. We do a 50m 80m and 100m Sprint. We could get into zones for this but once again I did not get in. My same freinds as before got in Thom and Aliz'e. I said good job you 2 are machines. Now it is Lunch Time. After Lunch we are doing high jump.

High Jump. We can go to zones for we need to jump 1m I did not make it. My best freind Louis did I said good job you are the man. He said thanks after that It was home time and we went home and went to bed.

My Recount about motorcross

HI BLOGGERS!!! Today I will be talking to you about my Motorcross when I got A fifth place

What I have been learning about this term is how to do a good recount this one is an ok. But if you could give me some feedback on how I did that would be good.

What I found difficult was finding interesting words to use in certain places I also found re-reading and making it make sense. This was hard because I was under the pump trying to get the number of words needed. Why was re-reading hard because I am not much of a reader I am good at it but I can not concentrate that good at all times in the classroom.

Throughout this unit, I have learned how to do a good recount on my work.

In the weekend I went to motocross. When we got there we put some of our gear on and went
to riders briefing. At riders briefing, they tell you all about the track and what flag means what
like the yellow flag means someone has fallen off and you cannot jump or pass other people
on the track. After that, they said we could go back to our bikes and get ready so we had a look
at the race order and went back to the car. We got the bikes ready and waited for our race to
start. Then we got the 5 min call so I put the rest of my gear on and rid to the start line. And then
we started this is only  practice so its not an proper race but when we got in from practice dad
and mum said I was going good if I could just stand up A bit more ofen so I said I will mum and
dad said we are going to watch Lewis so I said I will come to the start when I hear the race
start they said ok then. I spotted one of my friends so I went and said hi he said hi back he
has a brother who is in the same race as my brother so me and him went to the start and
watched the race Lewis was doing great. I cheered him on when the race was over me
and my friend both went back to our trailers.

And waited for my next race when my race came around I got pumped. I got on my bike and rid
to the start line and I wanted to beat the kid who I had always wanted to beat I got a first-place
start and some of the REALLY fast people went past me I was in fifth place. I was beating him
the guy who I always wanted to beat I and I bet him I was so HAPPY. Mum Dad and Lewis
were all proud of me and they said I am getting so fast I I said I think I am to and bet him ever
since that day. Lewis bet the kid he wanted to beat so the day went pretty well for me and my
family.

On the way home we were talking about how fast me and Lewis are going and then when we
got home we went to bed because we had a late night out on our motorbikes. The End

My Trip To Jelly Park

My trip to the antler cafe

 HI BLOGGERS!! I'm back from the school holidays. Today I went to the antler cafe with the principle. We sat in an old car near the door and got our photo. Then we went and got our food and went and sat outside. There was a museum and we all went in and all of us were playing inside and outside of the old school fire trucks/old school cars. Then we went and had our food. What did we have we had a hot chocolate and some chocolate browny and then we walk back to school.

So Hi guys this week I have been working on A book called the Ice  Palace I have done some improvement on this work. I Was wondering if you have read this book before. Ivan live’s in this crazy world it is so miserable and cold. Ivan lives here no one knows why he lives here. Maybe he is up to know good. What does he do there maybe he has a secret job he might not want to tell anyone.

Ivan’s land is a land where there is a lot of big tretrases and snowy white hills. It looks like there is a white blanket. As you were walking up the big hill the snow would crunch under your feet like you are walking on a muesli bar!!!

We also got to spend 500$ at the ECO shop. Louis and I had a list to buy stuff from the ECO shop. This is what we got.

My tiny house

The first step of our tiny house was to listen and follow instructions. I find that quite difficult because I'm like a talker on the mat but i got the idea of what to do for our tiny house.next, we had to

create a rough Draught. What do we do when we create a rough draugh so  there a checklist

for some items on it and there is how you plan out how you're going to your house.Now we

have to do the final version of the house. What do we do for the final version Well on a house 

are walls base roof You need to check off that you've got all of the things like the walls

base and roof.Now we need to find out the area and perimeter of the things on the checklist

like the sink the bath and the other six things on the list.Now I need to find out the area and

perimeter of the base the walls and the roof so that when you stick things in you know how

many squares you can use.Now you need to cut out the walls the base the roof etc and fit

them together so you know how it goes together.   No need to continue our design and we

need to decorate the outside of our house like if we wanted to put a path to the door front

door of our house we could put a river round our or something like that.You need to answer the

questions about the house and reflect on how you think you went with this tiny house.Now we need to create some 3D furniture in our house for the last step then we need to stick it in to our house then you've done your tiny house.

My science

Hi, Zack here on Tuesday I did some work on my science. What did we do for science we had to draw an eyeball with labels, and definitions. We also saw some objects that were opaque translucent and transparent, opaque means no light can go through, say when you shine a torch up to cardboard nothing goes through. translucent means it lets light through easy. and transparent means lets a little light through.

What Has worked well for me this term In maths because I moved up from the math pirates to the be2
That worked well because in it a bit more challenging.

What am I proud of this term.  Reward time because I got my full reward time 2 times I was proud of
that because for me it is hard to get my full Reward time.

How have I shown my yms hero qualities Getting 60 hero cards this term I think that is showing my
HERO values because it has to do with HERO cards

Some things that haven't go so well. I was being silly and throwing chairs around I was using bad
words In the calss

What are some thinks that I found challengeing The math test because some of the questions were
some things I did not know like some measuring things. I also found reading I think that means tricky
because I could not think of something to say.  

What will be my focus for next term. Is to not get a behavior sheet or mum having to be talked to.
And would also like to get my full readward time 5 times in term 3 that would be pretty good. I hope
next term will go A bit better than this term.

    

 

We went to Woodend camp

Hi last week we went on camp. We did some cool actvitvies like climbing wall and areo jump  and a lot more. On the first day we did flying fox at first I did not want to go on it because I don't like high places. We also did the go karts I went first I was going full speed in it I was the farstst kid there and I had to sit there for a long time and wach here are some pic's I am in the camo jacket.

Would you pick kenda or croyde

Hi my name is Zack. I would recommend Croyde as a planet to live on because It is where there is a lot like earth. It is joyful there has never been a war in 1000000 years it is the most safe place in any galaxy. If you would recommend kenda my writing it not for you. This planet has black holes to keep it safe all day long I have been there 3 times It is my favorite holiday destination of them all it takes 9 days to get there it is a long trip but you can get first class for free any time you want the ship has 100 storeys to it is the biggest flying thing in the world. It is the furthest away from the milky way. It also has a bright and exciting future. Kenda is so silly more people die in kenda than croyde so pick croyde or die really fast in kenda. If you pick croyde you can live happy for live. And no die because know one from war can come to croyde  unless you work at nasa and there is a 1.6% chse that you will die in croyde. But if you leave the planet you will go into the black hole and suffocate for a long long time in the black hole. There is a candy land on croyde it has all of the candies in the whole wide world like bars lollipops and much much more.

All About Me

My Holiday Recount

A few days ago. I went to Palmerston North speedway. To watch the superstock teams champs. There were 14 teams but I can't remember them all. Baypark Busters, Rotorua Rebels, Stratford scrappers, Hawkes Bay hawkeyes, The Glen eagles, The Palmerston North Panthers, The Mustangs, Wanganui Warriors, Great British Lions, The Wellington Wildcats, Gisborne Giants,. We went to skroot nering it is when all team’s lineup and you can look at all of them and you can buy TShirts. And pick your team.

The team I went for was the Stratford scrappers number 29s is mich vickery I shook his hand and said good job. The cars are yellow and black and awesome.

Night 1 of racing my team won yay went wild GOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! The Scrappers dad was Laughing at me. When we got to our tent it was cold me and Mum got into bed lewis and dad went to the pits and saw all the cars again.

I was asleep and then I heard a noise it woke me up when I try to go back to sleep mum woke up and said are you ok I said I am cold mum said I am to come to my bed so I did and we both got warm.

In the morning it was hot and it was my friend’s birthday she was 9 we went to the pool it had 4 hidro sides one was a super bowl and there was a dark and fast one and dark and slow one and extra speed one.
